Jan Berndsen

J L.D.J. Berndsen, RN, Independent consultant at Blue Horse Consultancy (Blauwe Paard Advies). www.blauwepaard.nl. Jan has been working in the mental health field for almost 40 years. He has been involved in development of various facilities for those who suffer from severe mental health illness and drug addiction. Jan supports the development of recovery-based care with a psycho-social focus and approach. He participates actively in the deinstitutionalization of the long-term mental healthcare in the Netherlands and abroad. From 2018 till 2021 he was President of Mental Health Europe in Brussels.
Prof. C.L. Mulder

Prof. C.L. Mulder is a psychiatrist and professor of public mental health. He is program leader of the Research Centre O3 at Erasmus University Medical Centre, department of psychiatry, psychiatrist and teacher at BavoEuropoort psychiatric institute, and the Municipal Health Centre of Rotterdam. He is involved in research projects concerning help seeking behaviour, emergency psychiatry, victimisation, assertive outreach, compliance, and coercion. He works as a psychiatrist in an ACT-team. He received more than thirty research grants and published over a hundred articles in (inter)national scientific journals and books.
Margret Overdijk MBA

Margret Overdijk is director at the mental health care institute InGeest in the region of Amsterdam and Haarlem. She started working as a psychiatric nurse in 1982. She graduated for the Bachelor in Business Administration in Health at the Hogeschool Utrecht in 1997. She graduated for the executive MBA (Master Business Administration) at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in 2011. Margret is experienced in strategic and operational management in the field of mental health care for (difficult to engage) people with severe mental ilness. Besides this she is experienced in developing and implementing strategic policies on assertive outreach and intensive home treatment. Margret was involved with the CCAF (Centre for the certification of ACT and FACT) from 2007 till 2017.
Marijke van Putten (Drs.)

Marijke van Putten is psychiatrist and was CEO of Mental Health Institute (MHI) Noord Holland Noord (NHN). She worked for more then twenty five years as a psychiatrist, director and innovator. The MHI NHN is specialized in deinstitutionalization, recovery-oriented care, inventor of the Flexible ACT and Intensive Home Treatment and has a lot of experience in e-mental health, also for people with Severe Mental Illnesses. Marijke was member supervisory board of the center of excellence for people with personallity disorders in The Netherlands and member of the board of Phrenos, center of excellence for people with severe mental illnesses and member of the board of Th Social Run. She was chair of the museum of psychiatry, Dolhuys, at Haarlem. She was chair of the board of ‘Professorship of the history of Psychiatrie’ at the university of Utrecht, Netherlands and member of the board of the CCITP (Crisis Coercion Intensive Treatment in Psychiatry) foundation.
